What Is Sitemap?
Sitemap is just like a map of your blog/website. It is an XML or HTML file containing all your blog/website URLs for crawling by crawlers.
The numbers of your URLs in your sitemap, updating frequency, size of your sitemap etc are the different parts of a sitemap that effect the crawling rate of your blog/website.

First of all sign in to your Google Webmaster Account. Here you will see the list of your blogs, you previously added to search console as you are the owner of these blogs. Click on your desired blog URL. You will see dashboard at the left side. In the dashboard section, click the Crawl tab. In drop down tabs you will see Sitemap, click on this. At the top right corner click ADD/TEST SITEMAP.

You can add sitemap with different methods. In the blank box next to your blog URL, write feeds/posts/default, then submit sitemap option and refresh the page. Within 24 hours your blog will be indexed.
Now if you have 500 posts in your blog, then use this code for sitemap atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 and more than 500 posts use this code for sitemap atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=1000.
