Asia Cup Cricket Tournament 2022


Tomorrow Asia Cup has been going to start at Dubai. All Asian teams has been arrived at Dubai to participate. This is a T20I cricket format tournament. A total of 6 teams are participating in this tournament which has been divided into two groups i.e group A and group B. Group A contains three teams i.e Pakistan, India and the Qualifier (the winner of asia cup in Oman). While Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan stand in the other group.


Each team will play a single match with all teams of respective groups e.g Pakistan vs India, Pakistan vs Hong Kong etc. Now from the two group two teams will qualify for super four stage. Here the group format will come to an end and all teams will play matches with all super four stage teams.


Asia Cup Cricket tournament is one of the best ACC event which is specially organized by the Asian Cricket Council for all Asian Cricket teams. This year it will be played in Dubai.


From this super four stage two top teams will play final match in a simple manner and the winner of the final match will be the winner of Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai.


Since 1984 till date there are a total of 14 Asia Cup event has been organized and this Asia Cup 2022 is 15. India is the most event winner. India won the Asia Cricket Cup 7 times, Sri Lanka won 5 times while Pakistan at the third place has won 2 times.


India will defend championship of last title played in 2018. The 2018 Asia Cup Cricket tournament was in ODIs format while this Asia 2022 is a T20I format.
